How We Make a Difference
We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason, dogs in shelters that are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners due to difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.
Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinarian care and treatment, and stay in our care and wait for their forever homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed, or ease of placement, to the extent our finances allow, dogs in the greatest need take priority.
We are a small 501c3 licensed animal rescue run by a group of dedicated volunteers. We work to ensure that dogs who have been surrendered, neglected, or abused find the love and care they are due. We welcome the opportunity to work with you as an adopter, a foster, or a volunteer.
Spay & Neuter
Spaying or neutering your dog is the best way to stop unwanted pets. We offer low cost spay/neuter certificates. For more information, click HERE.

Volunteering
Volunteering is a lot of fun and its also very rewarding. We need help caring for the dogs at our kennel, helping work events, someone to help transport the dogs to and from the vet, and someone who wants to just sit and love on our dogs. The list of ways that you can help is endless! To become a volunteer, email us at hartcoanimalrescue@gmail.com.
We update our Facebook page with valuable information regularly.
Visit us on Facebook and see what we have going on. We list new adoptable dogs often.
Hours of Operation
We are a volunteer operated rescue, we are not open to the public. If you would like to visit our kennel, please submit an application to adopt. A member of our team will happily set up an appointment with you to visit our facility.
